The Second Regional Ukrainian Women’s Congress will be held in Lviv and will bring together 100 most active and successful women and men from politics, business, NGOs and the media to unite them around the idea of ensuring gender equality in various sectors of the Ukrainian society as the basic element of sustainable development of our state.
Thematic discussions will be attended by the state elite, Ukrainian parliamentarians, representatives of international organizations, local self-government bodies, Ukrainian and foreign experts, and business representatives.
Discussion panels of the Congress address the issues of strengthening women’s political and civic participation at various levels and expanding their economic opportunities, as well as overcoming gender stereotypes in the society and enhancing gender awareness and education.
The Ukrainian Women’s Congress is standing public platform that forms the agenda on gender policy for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Government, local communities, private and public sectors, and the media community.
