Tamara Ohorodova
Graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State University in specialty “Finance”, qualification: Economist. Tamara had been a Zaporizhzhia city council deputy in 1990-1994, in 2002-2006, in 2010-2015.
Tamara is a founder and chairman of the board in Zaporizhzhia charity foundation «Unity» for the future». She manages more than 20 projects of the foundation. Gender equality is one of the priorities in organization’s activities, so all the projects are implemented considering gender aspects.
She has been an expert and trainer on gender responsible budgeting since 2015. Conducted trainings on gender responsible budgeting for local authorities and deputies in Zaporizhzhia, Ivano–Frankivsk, Poltava regions. As a result of her trainings, 11 local councils made 12 gender analytic reports by women deputies, man–deputy in cooperation with financial departments, and concluded recommendations that led to changes in existing programs.
