The Ukrainian Women’s Congress in the format of Regional Dialogue took place the second time in Zaporizhzhia after Kremenchuk. The agenda covered the issues of economic challenges for women on the local level, social entrepreneurship and increasing the economic participation of women of vulnerable groups in regions.
The Ukrainian Women’s Congress had a regional Dialogue in Zaporizhzhia aimed to unite the state authorities, businesses and public sector representatives during the discussion of economic challenges for vulnerable groups. The members of the Zaporizhzhia region’s NGOs played an important role in this discussion.
The Ukrainian Women’s Congress continued the series of regional events dedicated to the most urgent issues of economic recovery and overcoming the consequences of the global pandemic. One of the hottest topics of today’s Dialogue in Zaporizhzhia was social entrepreneurship.

Olena Zhuk, the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional council, mentioned the influence of the pandemic on the development of business in the region during the Ukrainian Women’s Congress’s Dialogue.
